In October 1919, the Hotel Palace had its officially 5 stars GL (luxury hotel). The history of the Hotel Palace has gone hand in hand with the most remarkable events in Barcelona, during the last century.
Hotel Palace has been part of the big events that the city has lived giving covers to all the celebrities. ACCOMMODATION
All rooms have been carefully decorated, with high ceilings and large windows, which make the rooms stand for its brightness. In the décor elegant shapes predominate, the neutral tones and touches giving it a unique quality in design and comfort and which distinguish a great establishment.
All rooms benefit from the most modern equipment: air-conditioning, satellite TV, direct telephone, Wi-Fi internet access, safe, mini-bar, twenty-four-hour room service, capricious “amenities” in the complete bathroom, bathrobes, slippers, hairdryer... Our rooms, also have doubled-glazed windows to ensure a quiet stay for the guest.
All rooms have 220 and 110 volt electricity supply and adapters are available from the housekeeper.
Deluxe rooms
These are the standard rooms. All exterior with double-glazed windows, with city view, decorative fireplace and elegantly and charmingly decorated with beautifully upholstered walls. Size: 38 m².
Junior Suites
Rooms with two atmospheres, the bedroom and a living room, separated by elegant curtains. Peaceful rooms with view to one of the typical interior “patios” of L’Eixample and two complete bathrooms. Size: 42 m².
The Roman Bath Deluxe Rooms
12 Deluxe rooms, very singular for their unique Roman Bath. All exterior and with city views, elegantly and charmingly decorated with beautifully upholstered walls. The most peculiar feature is the Roman Bathroom, made of mosaics and inspired in the old Roman hot baths.
The Suites
These rooms guarantee the most pleasant stay in an atmosphere of luxurious comfort. Exquisitely decorated, the suites provide the option of 1 or 2 bedrooms, with a completely independent and elegant living room, which can also be used for small executive meetings, in where the client can dispose of work material. All of them have an exclusive Roman Bath inspired in the ancient Roman Terms. Size: 60m².
The Royal Suite Salvador Dalí
A 95 square meter suite, composed of a charming living room with fireplace, and the “royal” bedroom with a Roman Bath, inspired in the ancient Roman Terms. A suite filled with the spirit of the famous guests who have stayed there.
Salvador Dalí was one of the most famous guests of this suite. Hotel Palace was the Hotel of Salvador Dalí and his wife Gala in Barcelona. In this suite Dalí gave his press conferences , welcomed artists and intellectual celebrities of his eccentric art scenes.
The Hotel Palace would like to homage this genius and artist, attaching his name to the Royal Suite that was his home in Barcelona.
